About Us

We Are Reliable, Resilient, and Purpose-Driven

Cyber Vault Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to creating a safer, healthier, and more inclusive digital future for children and young people across Africa. We empower the next generation with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly through digital safety education, online wellbeing programs, practical tools, and community-driven support.

By equipping children, parents, educators, and communities with the resources they need to prevent online harm, build digital resilience, and embrace technology responsibly, we help young people unlock the opportunities of the digital age while staying safe, informed, and empowered.

Securing YOUNG People, Powering Change.

The Six Pillars of Our Work

We empower children and youth to navigate the digital world safely, responsibly, and confidently. By combining digital education, technology, innovation, and community engagement, we build safer online environments and equip young people with the skills they need to learn, create, connect, and thrive in the digital age.

Digital Security & Protection

We equip children and young people with the knowledge and practical skills needed to stay safe in the digital world. Through engaging workshops, awareness campaigns, and hands-on learning experiences, we help young people understand online risks such as cyberbullying, scams, phishing, identity theft, online exploitation, and privacy violations. Our goal is to build a generation that can confidently protect themselves, their information, and their digital identities.

Policy & Advocacy

We drive research and campaigns on digital rights, freedom of expression, and internet governance, while influencing inclusive, feminist tech policies across national and regional levels.

Digital Literacy & Responsible Technology Use

Digital technology is a powerful tool for learning, creativity, and connection. We help children and youth develop the skills to use digital platforms responsibly, critically evaluate online information, identify misinformation and harmful content, and engage respectfully in online communities. By fostering digital literacy, we empower young people to become informed, ethical, and responsible digital citizens.

Capacity Building & Community Engagement

Through community-centered workshops, digital safety clinics, and feminist programs like HerFirewall, we equip children with the tools and confidence to stay secure.

Research & Resource Development

We produce toolkits, field studies, and security protocols that inform safer practices for youths, schools, parents and children.

Online Wellbeing & Mental Health

The digital world can significantly impact the emotional and psychological wellbeing of young people. We promote healthy and balanced technology use by raising awareness about cyberbullying, social media pressure, digital addiction, online harassment, and the effects of excessive screen time. Through education and support, we encourage positive digital habits, resilience, self-confidence, and healthy online relationships.
